Usually when you use the CD's that originally came with the computer or from the manufacturer it performs a format and recovery, when that happens it erases all your data, pictures, or other information that you had on the computer and sets it up the way it was when you first purchased the system; it will usually warn you of this before you start. The only way that data can be recovered after such an event is to turn the computer off right away and DO NOT continue to use it; the more you use the computer the less likely that we can recover the data. If you get the computer or hard drive to us we can run recovery software / hardware that may recover some or all of that data.
